Dong Young Chung leads the Electrochemistry Discovery Laboratory at KAIST. His group investigates the electrode–electrolyte interface and the electric double layer to understand and control the activity, stability and selectivity of electrocatalysts, and develops operando diagnostics that carry these insights into water electrolyzers, fuel cells and CO₂ reduction systems.
